Oscar Kowalski is a French composer and pianist from Brittany. Entirely self-taught and fully independent, he writes music that moves between classical, neoclassical and cinematic styles, inspired by nature, childhood memories and the landscapes of his native region. An atypical composer, he follows his artistic instinct wherever it leads, which gives rise to truly unique projects.

The piano is his primary instrument, and it sits at the heart of records such as Les Choses de la Vie (2022) and Bocage Printanier (2026). He also writes for orchestra: Fantasmagorie (2025) is a four-movement work he recorded with an orchestra he engaged. Pieces such as 3:32 (2024) capture his neoclassical side at its purest. With more than 120 million streams and a community of over 1.2 million followers on Facebook and Instagram, Oscar has reached listeners across Europe, the United States, Latin America and Asia.

His music is featured on Musicbed, and he is regularly commissioned to compose for film. Looking ahead, he continues to expand his work into new formats, including filmed concerts.
