There are always gifted instrumentalists who manage to move people with their instrument alone. Thomas Krüger from Berlin is one of these musicians. At the piano, he is able to captivate and inspire listeners with his playing. Like so often in real life, his talent alone did not help him achieve his breakthrough. It was a study trip to Paris that brought the turning point in Thomas Krüger's career.
Four years ago, he saw a public piano in the waiting area at Paris-Orly airport and just started playing it, a medley of well-known pop songs that just caught his ear. His mother filmed the spontaneous performance and Thomas Krüger uploaded the video to YouTube under the stage name "Mr. Pianoman." And then it happened: practically overnight, the video spread rapidly and has reached more than 56 million viewers. From then on, Thomas Krüger had found his passion and enchanted the music world with numerous sensational piano videos - on YouTube, he is now followed by over 932,000 subscribers from all over the world.
