Karel Havlíček is a Czech film and television composer, pianist and multi-instrumentalist working between Prague and Los Angeles. Blending piano, contemporary orchestral writing and electronics, he creates an emotionally charged cinematic sound with a distinctive artistic voice. His credits include the films The BrothersSilent SecretsLion Ark and Carpe Noctem, the HBO series Terapie and Mamon, as well as trailer music for HBO/Max’s The Penguin and Prime Video’s ELLE. His score for The Brothers received a Czech Lion nomination, and in 2026 OSA named him among the three most successful Czech popular-music authors abroad.

Beyond composing for the screen, Havlíček has created a concert world of his own, bringing together piano, orchestra, electronics and visual storytelling. His artist releases include Spoken, the double album It’s Never Late to See the Lightand the single Return of the Sun. He performs as a solo pianist, with chamber ensembles and with full orchestras. As a member of the PETROF Art Family and a PETROF Pianos ambassador, he places the piano at the heart of his work – both as a vehicle for intimate expression and as the source of a powerful cinematic sound.
