Tour in China

Traditional PETROF Tour in China, this year called “Swan Lake on PETROF Waves” went on during three weeks of October with participation of an exquisite pianist Jana Chaudhuri and exceptional flautist Anežka Beščecová. The tour enjoyed great interest.

The tour consisted of 12 concerts in different parts of China, e.g. Beijing, Xiamen, Nanjing, and also Hong Kong.

The artists liked visiting all the cities as well as meeting with dealers of PETROF instruments and diverse audience with many children. They also had the opportunity to try various traditional Chinese dishes.

Anežka and Jana wore beautiful dresses, tailor-made for this event by the fashion designer Tereza Sabáčková.

Anežka is very happy about the whole tour: “First of all, I would like to thank for the opportunity to take part in the PETROF Tour 2018. Thanks to that, I had a chance to combine my two passions: music and travelling. It was amazing to play various types of PETROF pianos and at so many places across China. Thanks to PETROF and its team, our tour became an unforgettable experience; hopefully not only for me and my colleague Jana.”

Jana joins with her impressions: “I’m always happy to be able to present our Czech brand PETROF in a country that has so many own piano brands. Although PETROF comes from a country many times smaller than China, it offers much higher quality and fineness of sound thanks to its longtime experience.”
