Pianist Matyáš Novák, a member of our free association of artists PETROF Art Family, has become one of the ten semifinalists of the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition, which will take place on September 22-29, 2022 in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
Due to the required repertoire, this competition is one of the most demanding and traditionally focuses on less played compositions by F. Liszt.
Matyáš advanced to the semifinals of this competition already in 2020. At that time, however, all semifinal rounds were cancelled due to anti-pandemic measures.
