Zsigmond Gerlóczy is a Hungarian pianist, composer and improviser whose music moves freely between classical, jazz, pop and world traditions. Born in Budapest in the mid-1990s into an artistic family, he was already giving fully improvised concerts by the age of nine. Though trained in classical institutions, he often clashed with their conventions and followed his own artistic path. His first release, I Only Fell to Fly (2022), was followed by the solo piano album Narrow Path (2023) and the progressive Future Sounds (2024), blending elements of jazz, neo-soul and pop. He has collaborated with numerous international musicians and received recognition from artists such as Jacob Collier, Tigran Hamasyan and Joshua Redman.
