DEVELOPMENT NEVER STOPS

PETROF’s acoustic instruments stir the hearts of music lovers with their typically romantic, rounded and gentle tone. The company’s reputation has spread all over the world and we are proud to be able to continue the family tradition of piano building begun in 1864 by Antonín Petrof, the company founder. Our portfolio is very wide and has gained an array of patents including the declaration of quality construction materials and European origin - the European Excellence Seal (EEX).

PETROF uprights undergo constant development and improvement, enabling us to meet the requirements of even the most discerning pianists. Our master technicians and piano-makers, working carefully by hand, aim to create diversity of instrument type and a wide range of surface finishes.

  • ANT. PETROF

    ANT. PETROF

In 2014, ANT. PETROF, our ultimate premium brand, saw the light of day during the celebration of the company's 150th anniversary. It was named in honor of Antonín Petrof, who founded the family piano business in 1864. The development, technology, and construction of ANT. PETROF instruments result from the diligent effort of the most experienced PETROF specialists, whose work is appreciated by even the most demanding customers.

    ANT. PETROF 136

The original and unusually robust construction gives this upright piano abundant stability in the long term, especially in tuning and regulating its mechanics. These qualities are essential for the pianist's top performance, as they provide crucial confidence during the renditions. Thanks to the high acoustic power, the behavior of the mechanics, the color range, and the unique romantic tones, the sensation of playing this upright piano is almost like playing a concert grand piano.

    ANT. PETROF 126

Upright piano ANT. PETROF 126 is the gateway to the range of ANT. PETROF instruments and the newest member of ANT. PETROF family.
Although it is the smallest of the instruments in the ANT. PETROF family, it is undoubtedly its rightful member. For example, it shares the same keyboard and action lever ratios with the taller ANT. PETROF 136 upright piano. All other components are also based on the philosophy of the ANT. PETROF series. Premium materials and mainly the handwork of the best craftsmen from the PETROF factory make this instrument a great example of the European piano tradition.

    TESTIMONIAL

    Petr Malásek

The AP 136 can be compared to a miracle in its class without exaggeration. The strong, balanced sound and tone quality, especially in the extreme positions of the keyboard, is unprecedented in an upright piano. The higher keyboard position suits me very well. I also positively evaluate the other options of the instrument - the two-stage opening of the lid or the split top frame. I like the instrument very much, I would like to buy it for my home. I give it five stars.
